What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that visited sites send to the user's device, where they are stored, and are then sent back to those same sites on a subsequent visit.

Types of Cookies Used

1. Technical (Necessary) Cookies

These cookies are essential for the site to work correctly and to provide the services requested by the user (e.g. login management, cart, browsing session). They do not require the user's consent.

2. Cloudflare Cookies (Security and Performance)

The site relies on Cloudflare for content delivery (CDN) and protection against automated or malicious traffic. Cloudflare may set technical security cookies (e.g. __cf_bm, cf_clearance) needed to distinguish legitimate traffic from bots and attacks. These do not require consent as they are strictly necessary for the service's security.

3. Analytics Cookies

We use third-party cookies (Google Analytics 4) in anonymized form to collect aggregate statistical information on how users use the site (number of visitors, pages visited, time spent).

4. Profiling and Marketing Cookies

We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and, if you consent, to show you relevant ads on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). These cookies are set only after your explicit consent, and you can withdraw it at any time from the preferences panel.

The GDPR (Art. 7(1)) requires that it be possible to demonstrate that the user actually gave their consent. For this reason, in addition to the reeslyconsent cookie saved in your browser, we record on our servers a pseudonymous identifier (reesly_consent_id, generated locally and not traceable to your identity), the date and time, the choices made (analytics/marketing), the version of this notice shown, the page, the truncated IP address (last block zeroed out) and the browser type. This data is processed on the basis of the legal obligation to demonstrate consent (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) and is kept for a maximum of 13 months, after which it is automatically deleted.

Transfer of Data Outside the EU

Google and Meta are based in the United States. Data collected through their cookies is transferred on the basis of appropriate safeguards under the GDPR (Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). More details in the Privacy Policy.
